A native iOS reader for The Circle Voice, Groton School’s student newspaper. The app pulls every issue into an RSS-powered feed and wraps it in proper editorial typography — set in the Playfair Display variable font — so reading a story on a phone feels closer to reading it in print than scrolling a website.

Beyond the feed, readers can bookmark stories to come back to, search the full archive, and unwind with Grotexto, an original word game I built into the reading experience. The whole thing is instrumented with Firebase Analytics so the editorial staff can see what’s actually getting read.
